weekend on the hills, or down the hills

Post by thor »

Great weekend with the kids in/on (?) the slopes...
- and I tried a snowboard for the first time on sunday... Let's just say I had a fun ride down the hill - sitting on it

- some pictures of Marte (9 years), and the view mobil camera
- take a look at Kongsberg Skisenter (20 min. drive from us)

Thank you Charlie - If I use my head I could think of that myself... I guess I need more input from you guys if I'm ever going to be better in english.
- my ski jacket has an avalanche-brick on it, i case I'm in the slopes. Rescue people can seek a signal from the brick... or should I say chip?

No worries, Thor, your English is quite good. Certainly better than my Norwegian. ;)

Little issues like in/on can be figured out. We understand.

Haven't been downhill skiing in years, none of my friends like it anymore. (wah, we're too OLD...)

I go out cross country once in a while..

I'll second that motion! I'd lug my skies over there and ski forever. I won't Tele any more though.

I have absolutely no interest in going to Dallas for a convention but if enough people wanted to meet in Europe somewhere to go skiing, I'd make some hella sacrifices to make that happen

I wouldn't mind a Euro-trip but we're seriously going to have to up the contributions to the squad Paypal account.
