Guys i cannot get the game to work at all anymore!! after the fiasco with the auto upgrade, i removed all of the crs and wwiiol files then got the full download now all i get is a corrupt i/o file.!! This kind of shit really makes me rethink renewing my sub in april.!!

oh and i even tried using the original disk i bought when game came out.

Uninstall then do a full install.
I have to do that for every upgrade/patch since I use Vista. Yeah, it's a little more trouble but no biggie.

hop on teamspeak with reddog or something... i'm sure it's something simple

i always do the full install as well because my hard drive is only 6GB and i don't like wasting space with all the old patches you get when you autopatch

also, this may be your computer telling you that all the porn has finally taken ahold of your system

to combat that, around once per year i wipe my computer clean and do a full windows install, full game install, etc...

getting rid of the porn makes my fps jump by at least 10 every time lol

I have vista and have only done one full install, that was when i loaded it. All you have to do is get the patch file from the ftp site barely.

Also Barely I just discovered if you right ckick your shortcut to start game and click run as administrator it autoupdated for me

Ben uninstall the game remove everything, playgate also. Then run the windows advanced care from iobit. Here's linky.

After you install it make sure to update it and then let it run . Then do diskcleanup, then defrag. Then reboot, redownload the full install, and try again. I'll be on about 6pm est. tonite

I only have 1 gig of mem with an 8600GT CARD. No idea why you are getting screwed. Maybe if you promised to fly a 111 and hail the new axis CINC they will restore your gaming access.
