I'd be happy to kick in a few bucks as well.

I had an idea a while back about Squad merchandise (hats, T-shirts, coffee mugs etc.). The profit from those could be put towards the hosting cost, and it would be fairly easy (and free) to set up through someone like Cafepress.

How about ww2.dambusters.org for a domain name?

I know my old squad (11th hussars) got a lot of trouble with some old vets about there name. After some long e-mailing they agreed on a proper name that wouldn't conflict with real life squads. They got virtual11th.com

True enough Thor. I guess if we had some way of showing that we are only playing a game, that'd be good.

Hot damn,

I have someone else who knows html. We will need to change our site this year, March time frame I think. That's when the alamo-scouts fee is due. We can work on this together if you like.

Nice work by the way.

I also think you may need to watch out for legal issues with the name -Especially with the movie being released again next year.

VirtualDambusters is a good compromise.IMO'

Also you may need to watch out with merchandise using dambusters now - not sure if the name has been copyrighted with the movie and all.

Oh and you definately neeed to utilise ideas from here.
