Website updates

Post by Tzulscha »

I think it's about time we upgraded the website. None of the links work anymore and most of the pages say 'under construction'. Forums are getting clogged with antique and irrelevant stickies....

I personally don't know much about web pages, but I'll help any way I can. I can write at least and make purty pictures. Main4ce was making some noises about helping as well.

Can we get admin access please? Kiz? Charlie?

Yeah, I saw that. In fact that's partly the reason I posted this, so that it has it's own thread.

Sent email out to gbw4th again. Still no response. Once I get all set up, I'm probably going to move the site to my domain anyway. I'm in a legal battle for crow.com right now as a freaking russian hijacked the damn thing.

What would it cost to grab ourselves an entirely new domain name, and start again from scratch?

Yeah, if it came down to having to buy a new one, I'd be happy to kick in a few bucks.

The domain name is not the expense. We can purchase a domain name for about $35.00 USD per two years. The hosting service is where the expense lies. We could put it up on a free site, but you run into the exact same issues we have with our current site. I have a friend who has hosted my site for $300.00 a year for a very long time. This would allow us to each have an email address from the domain if you wish.

Tell ya what, you guys put up some suggestions for a domain name and I'll check in every day or so and tell you whether or not they are available.
