na really it was a great landing, he did a great job. still can believe a goose can take down a multi million dollar plane...

someone leaked his IQ and school records...the guy is a genious and it shows...he landed that HUGE plane in the river and it did not break up or sink. He hit at the perfect angle and glided across the water like a boat. That man, is an American Hero....over 150 lives saved to his credit...

he also used to be an F-15 pilot

i read somewhere that he was in USAF. Great maneuver, with a lot of luck. There should be some boats on river or something. Good decisions by pilot.
And how the hell did he make that plane not to sink...

planes have a button for water landings that closes all ports on a plane and the plane becomes air tight. the crew is trained to just open the front door cuz if theyu open the back door the tail will sink quickly.

It was a 1980s Air Bus model if IIRC....
