32-bit or 64-bit

Quick question - That needs serious answers!

- Should I get XP 32-bit and 2Gb ram? or
- Should I get XP 64-bit and 4Gb ram?

I read somewhere that new powerful G-cards need more RAM, but if I got win XP 32-bit, it wan't use all 4Gb.

And, Do wwIIonline support 64-bit and 4Gb RAM? Will it be waisted money?

Wasted money. XP 64 bit didn't do real well, and vista 64 ain't much better

I'm still in the 2gb 32 bit camp. why buy 4gb if xp is going to gobble up a gb of it

Cheers mate!
Does that/this mean I can use an old XP and just download updates...?

Anywhooo, got a "go" for a new PC and US mini-con trip from zhe Wife. But I'm telling you people: it isn’t coming cheap, she's whipping my ass all around the house: fix this; - make a wall here; - I need a new closet; - clean up this and don't drink beer on a Thursday and the worst part? - It's my damn money in the first place...

That's LOVE

God, you have a good memory Charlie.

About the new PC. I tend to over do it... Kind of don't know what is "good enough". I always end up buying the best at the highest price. And the highest price in Norway is no joke.

Looks good , interesting those 1gb video cards have really plummeted in price. Nvidia is just now releasing there 9600 line of cards, the mid range 512 is only 215.00 and it keeps pace with the 8800gt 512mb , I wonder what the top end 9600 series will be like. But anyway go for it

Yes.

Were you angry because your computer died? It wasn't mentioned in the other thread.

I was angry - then the computer died, and I broke something in my little finger

NO KIDDING!

I was in Norway last August 2007, and a pizza was $70!!
At least it was a REALLY good pizza. Funny, go to Norway for the best pizza.

BTW, why do Norwegians have such an obsession over an Italian/American food?

BTW, I was there becuase of this:
ju88.net

Didn't have a chance to get to Boda and its Museum.
