the fick takes me back...

Here the Rilfe I used, see the second weapon down "7.62mm L1A1 SLR" better known by the troops as the SLR:

Maximum effective range (m) 600+ ... I and many others could hit a target in the head at 800 m (wind allowing) with normal iron sights

I also got to train on the "7.62mm L4A2 LMG"

and Artillery equipment such as the:

hell main that brings back memories

As an x Royal Marine we got weapons of choice and i choosed the SLR over the SA80, and it served me without fail especialy in the desert when the SA80 had alot of stopages problems.
