Saw this on the PS forums. A different method to gain quite a few FPS so the author states.

i cant access the allied forums so cant see what it says,but after the host patch (for message logs or something)my fps dropped to 5-17 tried everything and nothing worked.
On the off chance i updated my Gfx drivers and now my fps are fine again (50-100).
