ok guys i just found out that i need to rerun 3 phone lines to here. Now my question is/ is wifi any good for updates and etc. im sure playing online games it would be shitty,

What DSL internet can you get with your phone lines i.e speed etc when its installed.

Sure you can use wifi but I wouldnt recommend it, expect much lower speeds, and certainly a degree of higher packet loss which will hinder your connection.

thtas just it pegasus, my dsl is .748 mps, or kps, but it updates etc. really slow.

Does your internet company not provide binded cabled? two phone lines binded together to give you a faster connection? You mentioned in the other post of 3 phone lines?

That's Bonded not binded.

Ben ask then how far you are from the neerest Central Office. DSL is limited in length. That's probably why you're getting 768kbits. I have run the game for years wireless and not had a single problem. Probably wouldn't hurt to have someone come pull you new cabling where you need it.

you mean new phone lines lo. Tap kiz im am way from from the signal generation point. if wifi works then ill go that way, if not gonna have to wait til the old bitty owns it dies, she wants way too much for her phone company.
